Chondro-Gide
AMIC® Chondro-Gide® is a minimally-invasive 1-step procedure that uses bone marrow stimulation combined with Chondro-Gide to repair cartilage defects of all sizes. It can be performed either by osteotomy or mini-open surgery.
Developed by Geistlich Surgery in collaboration with leading surgeons in Europe, AMIC® Chondro-Gide® is an effective and cost-effective treatment for repairing damaged cartilage , alleviating or preventing pain, and slowing the progression of damage.
Chondro-Gide® provides a protective cover and keeps in place cells released from the bone or introduced into a defect. It complements regenerative treatment approaches for chondral and osteochondral lesions. While enveloping the defect and the cells within it during the initial stages of the healing process, Chondro-Gide® resorbs over approximately 1- 4 months11 and is replaced by native tissue.

Axogen Peripheral Nerve Injury Repair

Avance Nerve Graft is an off-the-shelf processed human nerve allograft intended for the surgical repair of peripheral nerve discontinuities. Through a proprietary cleansing process for recovered human peripheral nerve tissue, the graft preserves the essential inherent structure of the ECM while cleansing away cellular a
nd non-cellular debris.

Axoguard Nerve Connector is the only porcine submucosa extracellular matrix (ECM) coaptation aid for tensionless repair of transected or severed peripheral nerves. The Axoguard Nerve Connector’s semi-translucency allows for the close approximation of severed nerves, aiding in the alignment and connection of severed nerve ends with less than a 5 mm gap. The Axoguard ECM material allows the body’s natural healing process to repair the nerve by isolating and protecting it during the healing process. The patient’s own cells incorporate into the extracellular matrix to remodel and form a tissue similar to the nerve epineurium.

Axoguard Nerve Protector is the only porcine submucosa extracellular (ECM) matrix surgical implant used to protect injured nerves and to reinforce nerve reconstruction while preventing soft tissue attachments. The Axoguard multi-laminar ECM is designed to minimise the potential for soft tissue attachment and nerve entrapment by physically isolating the nerve during the healing process*(1-3). The SIS material that composes Axoguard provides an open, porous structure that allows for cell infiltration and vascularisation, gradually remodelling and incorporating into the patient’s own tissue*†(1,4-9). Axoguard Nerve Protector is provided sterile and in a variety of sizes to meet the surgeon’s and anatomical needs.
